The Rhine from the normal wiki: The river begins in the Swiss in the southeastern Swiss Alps, forms part of the Swiss-Liechtenstein, Swiss-Austrian, Swiss-German and then the Franco-German border, then flows in a mostly northerly direction through the German Rhineland and the Netherlands and eventually empties into the North Sea. The Rhineland, is so important because of the Rhein-Ruhr region thats a part in Germany that is densly populated, heavily industrial and also had alot of coal deposits. The rhine nowadays has a fleet around 7000 cargo ships that ship around 300million of tons of cargo per year. Dacia from the tanya wiki: It is based on the Kingdom of Romania, minus the Chernivtsi Oblast in Ukraine. The name Dacia is the named to name the native tribes that lived in Romania. The name was used by the ancient Roman Empire 2,000 years ago.

"Tamaya" is a phrase the Japanese say when fireworks go off ... so yeah , people dying by those secondary explosions was like watching some fireworks at the festival to her ... it's kinda messed up lmao

Tamaya was one of 2 biggest firework producers in Edo. So they would battle with the other group and the people would yell their favorite company either Tamaya or Kagiya. This custom survived the companies and todays Japan they use it general for firework displays.

So something to comment about for the first test. It was certainly about trying to get a certain quality of mage to join for the Battalion, but Tanya was deliberately making it much more difficult to pass than necessary because she was trying to stall as long as possible so she wouldn't be deployed to the front lines. When she was told to speed it up, she figured she would use modern military training techniques to rapidly train up soldiers to a fairly hardened status and she actually high-balled it. She asked for a month when in the timeframe of WW2 in our world, they would be pumping out recruits in as little as a week of training. She also was going for a hard training with a high failure rate, pushing as roughly as she could get away with in order to cause dropouts as much as she could manage. Problem was, she was inadvertently TOO efficient at training and charismatic enough that they stuck through it all and came out as an elite force.
