I think you misunderstood about the time thing. Time moves faster for the Flaxans, but it's incompatible with the flow of time on Earth, which is obviously slower. It's why the Flaxan tank started rusting away in no time. The creatures and materials from the Flaxan world retained the time stream of their world, where decades occur within days on Earth. Without some sort of protection they cannot survive the time stream on Earth, because they start becoming affected by Earth Time and getting old. Omni-man grew a beard because he was on their world for something like a month or more, but for Earth only a few hours had passed.

Okay. William is the homie, though. He jumped on giving Amber his number like he was waiting on that shit. Also... Time dilation is hard. Basically, time is the same based on the perspective of those experiencing it. This means that if I were to experience time from earth as well as another similar planet traveling at a speed close to that of the speed of light, It would still feel like time was passing normally. The problem arises when you compare two different places with their own unique relations to time. The planet that was traveling at a speed closer to that of light would have a drastically different perception of time than Earth would. This is what we call time dilation. The closer to the speed of light you are traveling, the slower time passes for you to outside observers. Time on earth is absolutely different than most other places in the universe. This seems like some Sci-fi type of ish, but it's really not. Time Dilation is a real phenomenon that exists in our universe. Depending on how fast something moves, how much mass it has, or how much gravitational force it's under can affect the perception of time within that affected area. I don't know that the concept of "Adjusting" to a new "time stream" is realistic. The concept of the passing of time varying based on multiple variables has been proven, however. Relativity is a bitch. Shit is trippy as fuck!
