This is the worst episode they've done adaption/story wise i really recommend reading the novels for this part they butcher almost everything about this episode like they cut out and dumb down rudeus's most important inner monologue in the story and then skip straight to sex bind was not cooking this episode

Anime/Manga only. More of Rudy's inner monologue is always nice, but they don't have time for all of it. They kept enough of it to get a feel for what he's struggling with. If what the people said above was true, then I like most of the changes they made. The changes to Roxy's scene changed it from Roxy being coerced into it by the group to being 100% Roxy's determination to help Rudy when the others thought leaving him alone would be better. They made it clear that Roxy is the one who took the initiative to be intimate. If Rudy had been the one to push Roxy down, I’d have been disappointed in his actions. Giving in to her vs taking the action himself sends a very different message, even if she wanted it. Rudy's decision to ask Roxy to marry him was better as well. Elinalise lying about a pregnancy wasn’t necessary and doesn't seem to fit her character. If Rudy had been convinced by Elinalise’s lies about Roxy's pregnancy, I wouldn’t have appreciated Rudy’s inner struggle nearly as much. She convinced him in a much better way than lying to his face and forcing him to take responsibility for a fake child. Excellent episode, I think.

Anime/Manga only. I've seen people upset, not about what happened, but about what studio Bind apparently changed. Roxy was coerced into it by the group, mostly Elinalise. The adjustments to Roxy's scene changed it from Roxy being coerced by the group's conversation, to being 100% Roxy's determination to help Rudy whilst the others thought leaving him alone would be better. This change made it clear that Roxy is the one who took the initiative to be intimate and to help Rudy recover. Better in my opinion. Rudy apparently pushed Roxy over, then they did the deed. If Rudy had been the one to push Roxy down, I’d have been disappointed. Terrible changes i'm sorry you believe making roxy a rapist is a good story change and think elinalise caring more about her 9 year very close friendship instead of her grandaughter she found out about a few months ago it seems you don't know the characters very well and it shows
