I was like 50/50 on what Senshi ate. I thought the dent was made by hammer during the fight or something. But Laios’s predictions seem pretty solid with untouched horse, hoof attack, the way Senshi wasnt hurt by griffin in its nest. And my understanding with changeling is that it doesnt change things to completely different, like human to griffin, only to something similar. So Im convinced what Senshi ate wasnt another dwarf. But who knows

The author does a great job of establishing rules, logical conclusions, the environment and ecology of the dungeon and the characters in the show. The only way to justify that the Griffin is a dwarf at this point would be to argue that absolutely nothing we've seen so far can be trusted. That the Kelpi didn't want to drown Senshi, that "Living Armor" is not a colony of mollusks living between the armor plates, that the small dolls are not actually related to whether or not Golems become active, that treasure bugs don't actually devour mimics. Basically, the show establishes certain things using mysteries that get solved by the crew and explain how the ecology of the dungeon works. If the show reveals something the way that they revealed the transformation of the hippogriff into a griffon, then it's safe to assume that this was intentional.

No, it's clearly a hippogriff turned into a griffin. That's the whole point of what Laios was saying, the whole point of the Changeling reveal. Idk why you're hell bent on it being a person. Also, he said a subtle change.... a human to a griffin is not a subtle change.
