Hi, I’m a new subscriber and I’m so happy to see your reactions now. Let me tell you what I think in the original timeline SunJae saved Imsol Fought and ImSol’s kidnappers/murderer He helped the police catching so but I think in the Original timeline when it shows what he was depressed and having guilt His door ringed and then he end up in the pool I think the kidnapper killed him in the first time slip because SunJae got him in jail Then in episode Seven in. ImSol’s dream it was Memory Of the other accident because in the first accident, she got away and the murderer probably got her again and Sanjay saved her again and He put him in jail again because he was a witness so I think the murderer is after Sanjay because Sanjay put him in jail because he saved ImSol. And Tae -Sung was there remember his dad was a police officer what happened Tae- Sung follows his dad’s footsteps and becomes A police officer, because what happened to ImSol!! (The thing that got me is SunJae was wear the same outfit when he died in the original timeline, then I already know was about to happen😭😭 But I’m loving your reaction so far every time I see you reactions I laugh and everything especially the last episode you did your little dance I was dancing with you lol😂

i think you may be confusing characters; tae hwan made a single guest appearance in the first episode during the 'secret' timed race to determine the olypmic team. he was the one who was protected when sol ran to sunjae at the pool. he isn't the same character who is bullying sun jae about his mother and his shoulder. that character is played by another model. so sun jae was not technically better than a gold medalist. he may have won the silver tho.

I’m kinda late to the party but just wanted to share an aspect about your comment on how they can’t just be honest. So Asian culture, especially East Asian, in general (and this is an over-generalization), pride is a huge deal and implicit communication rules. It is still common for men to make the first move; proactive women with explicit communication style still carry slightly bad notation. Of course, younger generations have a more opened mind, but it still takes time for these outdated tendencies to leave for good. That’s why situations like this may seem very frustrating for Western viewers, but us Asians can sympathize with it a bit better haha. You’re also right that SJ should have no reasons to not be honest, but to be fair, pettiness is a trait of him, and he has been turned down before too, so I can understand his effort to protect his pride and image lol
