2024-05-26 02:42:01 actually the reason why that happened is skipped in the anime and was explained in the novel when the bleeding thing happened. If anyone wants to skip this explanation for spoiler reasons ill put it far at the bottom of the comment so you can avoid reading it (but i doubt they will ever explain this in the anime since its kind of long). From what i remember in the novel the reason he was bleeding after receiving the Common language is because when the goddess originally gave him his language ability she was actually giving him a special ability that usually lets you comprehend every language and communicate with any sentient being, but the amount of information that kind of ability gives you is too much for a human to handle physically. By removing one language in the ability she was able to reduce its effects to the point where Makoto's body could handle it. After she added it into his body that completed the comprehension ability unlocking its full effects and it became too much for his body to handle physically so it kinda blew up inside of him and caused him to bleed like that. Thats why she said it wasnt "going in" I think the completed ability was kinda rejecting him physically and needed time to adjust.
