Seems like a lot of the candidate have back stories on why they want to become rangers. I think what makes this more interesting that the typical shonen is that it has these aspects of mystery mixed in with action.

I really hope the anime gets more seasons. The manga is fantastic (I just caught up to it) and gets pretty dark so I’d love to see this in the anime. Although I hope the anime doesn’t cut anything from the manga. Also because I’m caught up on the manga, I know Hisui is best girl
