Joe it's the DUTY AND JOB of nobles to WIN OR DIE for their domains, This is the only reason they are permitted privileges vs commoner pissants, if they don't die trying, there'd be no point to have a nobility system instead of everyone just being normies... hence the ostracization because of going against the social norms that are the only reason a system like nobility exists to siphon loot etc from normies & special privileges, because unlike normies, they AREN'T allowed to flee their lands (ergo she likely would have been executed if Kaleneon had won vs demons, once the Royal Family heard of a noble not fulfilling their Duty as per the system), but must fight to victory or death, no in-betweens. Also Rona technically kept her part of the request. Makoto only told her to CALL BACK ANY DEMONS INSIDE THE CITY, which she did, he said nothing about her activating the berserk drug thingie she had been peddling to a bunch of citizens in Rotsgard to have em mutate & BTFO all the mfs from the inside. Hence why she so easily accepted Makoto's request, because the job was already 99% done by that point in timeline, so it was an easy enough thing to accept to pull out the demons from the city at that point
