You have to remember that each episode is like 1 chapter at most so most of what you see is just filler that isn't present in the manga

Not necessarily true w/ the elections in all the kingdoms tho, I'm sure some of the 20 would have appointed trusted underlings to be the new ruler or w/e, depending on what X island specializes on etc (well I suppose technically 19 since Nefertari refused to leave Alabasta 800 years ago, kinda sussy they had a poneglyph stashed there tho, considering WG banned those things under penalty of death etc, I suppose they prolly yoink'd that immediately in the aftermath of the boogaloo vs Ancient Kingdom while nobody was looking, then stashed it near the royal palace). Late to the party here, but to clarify about why Law doesn’t just teleport all the way across his Room: When he’s teleporting he’s swapping himself with another object, and in order to do so he must be conscious of where said object is. He doesn’t just know where everything in his room is, evident since he had to “Scan” the marines at Punk Hazard to find all the transponder snails. So he has to teleport short distances with objects he can see, rather than all the way across his room at once. In PH he could probably teleport through walls maybe because he planted objects on the other side before hand, or maybe he scanned and we just weren’t shown.
