I actaully didn't know that something like that could happen, but oh well, I'm somewhat new.

Apperently there are some fake patrons on my page. I'll have to get rid of them.

I will block them, but if  you guys know if there's something else I should do about it, let me know. I will delete those fake patrons tomorrow.

I know exactly that they are fake and I know exactly who is not, so don't worry about me blocking you, this won't happen for sure.

But, if you feel unsure about it, you can just comment unter this post~

It's a problem that all Patreon artists face, and there doesn't seem to be a simple way to deal with it. The most effective seems to be a system where rewards are mailed out after payment received, but that's a major hassle. It'd be simple enough for this site to put some extra safeguards in place for this sort of thing, but they simply haven't bothered.

Yeah, I'm thinking about sending rewards via mail. Seems like the only option here to deal with this problem. Though, I don't like this system much. Patreon staff didn't came up with a better idea for a couple of years now, so I don't think they will be able to do something about it

It'd actually be easy to put in system that only unlocks content after pledges are processed, and re-locks if a month is skipped. There could even be a 'pay now' option for people showing up mid-month that don't want to wait for next cycle. Patreon won't do it though because allowing fake patron pledges makes it look like artists are making more than they are...which gets more people to sign up and use their service.
