Brian and Mitch had been messing around in Brian’s dad's laboratory. Mitch had found a canister that said “DO NOT TOUCH.” So naturally being curious teenagers they touched it. After some minor inspection they put it back but as they did the canister started rolling off the shelf. It crashed on the ground and started spewing out green gas.

The two boys woke up realizing they had been reduced in size! Now several hours later they were desperate for some help, so they found the one person that could save them, Brian’s mom. She was sitting down wearing short shorts, and a white tank top. She was cross-stitching as she normally did. Lost in her activity she hummed softly to herself.

The boys jumped and yelled but it was no use. Mitch decided they needed to touch her, to get her to look down. Mitch ran over but as he did her foot shifted and landed on top of him. Brian’s mom started tapping her foot unconsciously. Up and down, up and down, up and down. Slamming Mitch into the ground. He begged and pleaded for help but Brian was too afraid to get closer, he didn’t want to end up like his friend.

Brian yelled for his mother, but his voice didn't even carry over the humming. She continued tapping her foot until….the body of Mitch disappeared and was replaced with a gooey red puddle. Still, Brian's mother continued humming and tapping, completely unaware of what she had just done. Mitch was gone, and now Brian was alone.
