Hello everyone,

the last 3 weeks I did some smaller projects and cleanup:

- Gameboy 2player core

- Lynx Cheatsupport

- GBA fastload+bugfix release

- Wonderswan bugfix release

I will be there for these cores for sure whenever a bug occurs that I can fix. Still, I wanted to tackle something new.

So I startet working on a "new" core for MiSTer. It's a larger system this time and the development for it will take longer than it took for Lynx and WonderSwan, but as it's a popular system, it should be worth it for sure.

I'm still very early in the development and cannot say for sure yet that it will work out on the DE10-Nano/MiSTer, so I don't want to make it public already.

As always, I'm working on a software emulator first to understand the system. So far I got half of the CPU implemented and some parts of the memory handling and DMA, no graphical or sound output yet.

I will update here as soon as I get some first homebrew demo or BIOS running.

Please understand that I don't want to reveal yet what system it is. The pressure is high enough already. It would be great if you give me some weeks to work things out. I know that posting this will create some wild guessing, but I didn't want to post no sign of life for many weeks.

Thanks,

Robert

I have 2 in mind that it could be, but I'll keep it to myself. Good luck and hope you have fun with it!

omg, I'm so excited <3 ... but yes, take your time, no need to hurry. I guess it's also a mobile core, maybe virtual boy? :)
