Whew. Friggin finally finished Blaze's party chat options. Took way longer than I'd wanted but all conversations are rendered out, with busts, and display relationship changes. Working on Fire next, then Laura, and maybe Jessica.... Maybe. (Renders for these are already done, just have to set everything up in game, which is hella time consuming)

The party chat system is a bit different from how it worked originally but it functions more or less the same. You can use it to interact with party members, either by walking up and talking to them, or hitting the "c" hotkey and selecting from available party members. Currently you have the ability to talk (chat or ask questions), flirt, hug, and/or kiss party members. Well, only Blaze atm...

The hug/kiss options are pretty straight forward. Flirting is a bit more nuanced as you can flirt, or compliment, a character in different ways. Beauty, Body, Mind, or Soul. Different characters will appreciate different styles of flirting. For example, Blaze, being health conscious, appreciates when you compliment her body. She has other preferences as well but you can figure that out in game.

The chat system has been overhauled a bit. When choosing to "chat" with a character, you can pick from several different categories of "interest" that in turn pull from a characters likes and dislikes. You can find a characters likes and dislikes by asking them under the "Ask" option in the chat menu, this will bring up various things, including their interests that you can inquire about.

Categories are: Interests, Colors, Food/Drinks, Movies/TV, Fashion, Intimacy, Hobbies, and Traits.

When chatting, you can talk about a characters "Interests", which will be the same for all characters (Gossip, Life, Pleasure, Porn, Science, Shopping, Sports/Exercise, Town/Politics, Weed, and eventually Magic once it's added). Generally speaking, asking questions will never lower relationships unless you ask questions before a character is ready to talk about something. For example, asking somebody what their favorite kind of porn is before you've gotten close enough with them probably, definitely, isn't a good idea.

Conversely, starting up a conversation and talking about something a character doesn't like is liable to lower relationship values too. For example, let's say you decide to talk to Blaze about what she does for fun, A.K.A the pleasure category, you'll be able to chose from Gaming (a hobby), Movies/TV, and Painting (another hobby). If you don't know which of the two hobbies she prefers, you could opt to talk about Movies/TV, but if you don't know what genres she likes either, you still might lower her relationship. Basically, talk to people and ask about their interests before you decide to chat them up. Not all characters will like all "interests" even if they have the option to talk about said interest. For example, using Blaze again, you can talk to her about Sports but she doesn't like sports so talking to her about sports serves no purpose other than lowering relationship values. Talk about exercise instead ;)

There will also be an area, in the phone, that tells what a character likes/dislikes. The higher their relationship level, the more information you'll be shown. So you won't have to constantly ask somebody what they like and try to remember it, the game will keep track of things at first and add more over time.

As far as rendering goes, I've started testing out BG's for the museum. I have that more or less setup and I'll start rendering out Laura's and Schala's intros next week. Shouldn't take that long as they'll just be using bust images. Then I'll redo her scene, render out the next museum sequence and render out Victor/Schala's scene, which will also be using busts. Finally I'll render out MJ's work intro as well. Hopefully I can get all that done in 2 weeks. We'll see how I'm looking next Friday. Yes, that means the next update will be in two weeks if I can get all that shit done. We'll see. (Remember, no new story content yet though. I'll get back to that after catching the renders up to the current story content)

That's all for now, stay blessed and I hope you're enjoying the game.
