I can't lie, I really like these weekly updates. I should've been doing this, puts stuff in perspective. Anyway, I didn't quite make it to starting the Pleasure Palace. A bit unfortunate but I'm very happy with how the additions to the forest turned out. All in all, I want to say I added 7 new areas to the forest, a few NPCs to interact with and a new quest that's forced on the player but optional to complete. I still haven't added/updated the enemies in the forest, excluding "The Stalker" and the  mini boss, which has been buffed(?). Honestly, not sure if he's buffed due to the mechanics of the fight... should actually be pretty easy. We'll see. But the forest itself is done for now, for the most part. Currently I'm working on the final event before entering the Pleasure Palace, then naturally I'll start on that.

As to what I want to do for the dungeon, I'm not 100% sure how far I want to take it. I might not even change anything, just add a few enemies inside roaming about. Yeah, that's probably what I'll do. The area is/was always meant to be a dungeon later on in the game that you need to clear to open up a... ahem, den for ladies of the night... Yeah. So upgrading that probably won't take much time. After that, the player will be all clear to head for the Temple of Lust. That said, I want to build on the scene behind Dope's house with the sisters. I plan to do 2 flashbacks that detail incidents that changed how Blaze/Fire relationship with Dope started to evolve. A bit of leading up into what's about to happen next at the temple.

That's going to be render heavy though, and I haven't scripted out those events only thought about how I want them to go down in my head. I don't know if I'm going to script them out now or just set the base so that the game can proceed then script them out once I start rendering the scenes. Most likely it'll be the latter. That said, once I get to this point it'll pretty much be dialogue from there on out so the structure of the update will be done and all I'll have left to do is render. Well, render and the detail work.

So, like I said, I'm working on finishing up the event before entering the Pleasure Palace. Then I have to update the tileset for the dungeon, add some enemies (which I'll work on later), and update the scene and boss at the end of the dungeon. After that I need to map out the events to the Temple of Lust, which I might need to port it over... not sure, and finish all the detail work while rendering. Basically, development for the update can be said to be in the final phases. No idea on how long it'll take for the update to be ready though because I've no idea how long the renders are going to take. I have a lot of stuff to render out, far more than the original game (time to get that new PC going, it's sad right now). Ignoring the bust images, there will be several hundred renders for the scenes. A lot of shit to render... I'm ready for it!

Oh! To clear up any possible confusion, my last post said that the game will not be available publicly on any platform. That is still correct, but Patrons will have access to the game. That's not public, now is it? That said, once the update is released, please do NOT upload it elsewhere. If the game is shared, fist I'll try and block whoever shared it from being my Patron, but secondly I'll bump up the price of the next update for remaining patrons. As of now, any patrons that are subscribed will get a link to the game when it's released. Once the update goes live it'll be available for $5 Patrons, once I set that up. If it gets leaked, I'll bump it up to $10 for the next release. If that gets leaked I'll bump the next version up to $20 and so on. Eventually the game will stop getting leaked because I'll price people out of supporting it, assuming it ever starts receiving legit support. Don't care. Good day!
