Status Update (Patreon)

I can't exactly remember when I posted the last update but I figured it was about that time. MZ wise, I've finished Jessica's event and finished porting over the maps I'll be using for the Hefna mansion. Originally I was going to port over all the maps now, 20+ or so, but I decided not to because 90% of the mansion will be closed off until later in the game. I've begun working on next story event and I recently just finished Billy/Timmy's intro into the event. All that's left to do is finish porting over the event from MV. Most of that will be pretty simple as all I'll need to do is update some dialogue. Lastly I need to put in Ivy's photoshoot event, which will be text only (for now) and add in the new dialogue for the new guest at the party. Hopefully I can get all this done within a week. We'll see. Then I can finally work on the next big update for the game, the combat update! I'm ready to get started on that. Like, really ready. One step at a time though. One step at a time.

Daz wise, well, you tell me. I've finished the new models for Mj, Blaze, and Fire and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I'll probably tweak a few things before the designs are finalized but I don't expect them to look drastically different than they do now. Once I remake Dope I'll post a poll, that nobody will participate in (shrugs), and see if people are happy with the new designs. Even if they aren't, if I am, I'll probably start rendering out basic busts for the Chronic family. After that, I'll start redoing more characters, as they appear in the game, then doing their basic busts so that updates in the future will have some types of renders until I get the new PC up. In case you may have missed it, there will be no new renders until I get the new PC up and running. That's not a threat/ultimatum for pledges, I genuinely can't render out the types of images/videos that I want the game to have with the level of quality that I want at the rate that I want to produce with my current rig. Hardware is what it is, but thankfully I'm close to having all the components for my rendering rig.

No ETA on that though, it's the holiday season so we'll see what my savings looks like after everything is said and done. Technically I only need a power supply and SSD because I can take the 2080 out of this PC (It'll still have the 1070) and put it in the new one simply to get it up and running. I know factually it would render faster than this one because I could render with the 2080 and the CPU, which is far better than the i7 (I'm still kinda mad I thought I had an i9... I've lied to myself for years people. Years. Lol) I currently have. Actually the PC would render faster and I would be able to setup scenes easier as well, which would lead to better renders overall. I don't know if I want to put the 2080 in the new build though, we'll see. If there's demand for the game I might, if not I'll just keep plowing along slow and steady.
