Status Update (Patreon)

Development has been going well. Jessica's event is more or less done, I just need to make updates to the quest log and maybe a few other minor things, but the photoshoot portion  done. I had been saying how I'd be looking at combat in the next update but I'll be pushing that back to the following update and work on porting over the Hefna mansion for the rest of this update. I'll be porting over the maps more or less as is, but I plan on adding a few things for Elise's event. 

The event will basically be the same with a few additions: 

• Blaze, Fire, and Emerald might get some dialogue updates but their stuff will be left alone for the most part.
• Ivy will get a proper intro and will want to have a photoshoot. (Her photoshoot will work the same as Jessica's it'll just be a bit harder. You can skip it)
• Hefna and co will be getting some dialogue updates to better reflect the story.
• A new guest will be in attendance! They'll have their own intro and some dialogue but won't play a major role in the event.
• Elise will have some dialogue changes as well but her portion will basically play out the same.

No ETA on when I'll have all that sorted out but it shouldn't take too long. I think... Daz wise, I finally bit the bullet and deleted/reinstalled Daz. I did this because my current PC was full of crap I won't need, maybe ever, and I want to somehow sort through all that crap before I start putting stuff on the new PC. I've been trying out gen 8.1 assets and I think I have Blaze down. Just her though, and probably Dope but I haven't tried to make him yet. I'll keep playing around with things, maybe post a render or two, while I try and sort through my Daz assets and figure out what I want to actually put on the new PC.

As for actually obtaining the parts required to build the PC, I only need a few more primary components and I can finally get to building. I still need...

• CPU
• GPU
• PSU
• SSD(s)
• HDD (For long term storage)
• Optical Drive (I know I don't really "need" this but even if I never use it, I feel like a PC isn't a PC without one... It's like a person without a mouth, that shit would just be weird)
• Keyboard/mouse/etc

Of the stuff on that list only two things should cost more than a couple hundred bucks and I'll be able to get them at my leisure. However, the CPU and GPU are going to hit different. I'm building around my EVGA X299 Dark MB. Might not be the newest but I've heard really good things about it. I've also chosen to go with Intel over AMD, even though AMD has better processors right now. But I really don't know much about AMD and I'm not too sure about how AMD and Daz/Iray play together either.  So just to be safe, I'm sticking with Intel this time around. The processor I plan on getting is the i9 (I thought I was currently using an i9, I'm actually using an i7... FML) 10980xe. Should be the best I can get, as far as intel is concerned. At least I hope so, cause it's on the way. Hah.

Seriously though, it doesn't even matter that much because the GPU is far more important and I don't even want to talk about how much a top tier RTX 3090 is going to run me. Welp, that's all for today, thanks for playing and I hope you have a great day!
