Torsie!!!! You blew my mind! What a breakdown, Thank you for this. Now, I will hve to watch this MV again to really appreciate it as you just broke it down. How you managed to see the design on the green jumper is mind blowing. I never even saw the reference to the Kentucky Derby. I have to go and see my eye doctor to see if my vision has severely deteriorated. What a great breakdown.

Whoa! Very nice interpretation and extremely interesting! I lowkey learned a lot, thank you for that. I mentioned this before but if you can check out DKDKTV's own take on the MV that would be super cool because there were parts that were in contrast to your interpretation and some part that are with the same inclination, others are totally far off each other, it'd be lovely to see what you think after seeing the video. My favorite part is probably the same as yours, the darts scene. Remembering the first time I saw the MV I didn't even realize that she's actually being targeted by the darts. So when I finally realized, I thought hmmm she's not even bothered. Like on the surface, you don't see any reaction from her considering the amount of hate being thrown at her. That's when I knew that IU is a very strong person, mentally speaking. Or maybe it's because she got used to it? I felt sad that she got so used to it because damnnn how much pain does it require for someone to get used to being hurt? But then again I felt sort of relieved that she powered through, I can't imagine how hard it is to have people watching you, just to see you burn. She's done and shared so much of herself and her gift/talent to the world that the least we can do is respect her privacy. I hope people will realize that. She collaborated with Choi Baek Ho before (one of Korea's veteran singer) for the song "Walk with me girl" which is one of the song in her modern time album (if im not mistaken), and during one of their interview he said "To have such a talented artist with us is a tremendous blessing. We'll have to take care of her, to make sure she sings for us for the years to come." IU was only 21. I think it was the sweetest thing and I strongly agree! So no crossing the line people!
