also i commented about it on youtube as well, but I'll drop the link here too just in case: walawala's three-part series called "the growth of lee taemin" is a fascinating and thorough fanmade documentary of taemin's growth from his trainee days to 2020 (part 1: https://youtu.be/tlbqdGZSmME). i highly recommend! also I'm definitely down to watch taemin's content chronologically! your praise to his choreographers is definitely warranted! koharu sugawara is a well-known Japanese dancer, choreographer, and model who has been working with taemin since sayonara hitori. she made the choreo for flame of love, move, want, shinee's good evening, and criminal (in collaboration with korean choreographer kasper). her style of choreographing is extremely distinctive with a lot of contemporary dance influence and androgynous movements. she and taemin are really close in age and have become good friends in their time as creative partners! she is the featured dancer in move's 3rd mv, and also danced with taemin on the dance competition show, "hit the stage" :)

Any and all approaches to learning more about Taemin's artistry would be most appreciated!

Yes to your ideas about going chronologically with Taemin's discography, Tors1e. Also interesting are Taemin's lectures and remarks about his albums during his comebacks. His vision is clear and shows his evolution as an artist. (His Advice comeback was rushed though, but grateful he pulled it off.) His body of work and work ethic are very inspiring to me, especially as a grad student away from my family and communities. I hadn't been listening to any music at all for years (bored with the US music industry) until my brother shared a Dimash video (SOS at The Singer 2017 competition) while I watched the Japanese drama, Final Life. I searched Taemin's name and the rest is a beautiful history. (Taemin and Dimash are once in a generation and I think it would be cool if they met and talked about music.) I have always appreciated how he dances down to his fingers and toes, every inch of him is alive and vibrantly electric during his performances and concerts, including during his ballads. (While I stopped listening to popular music, I continued to attend concerts, musicals, plays, symphonies, operas, and dance performances.) I am so looking forward to seeing Taemin and SHINee live! For now, I'm content on accompanying you on your journey to learn as much as I can about Taemin, the man and his art. (Feel free to share any info for artists featured on your wall.) We're having a heat wave in New Mexico (school) and California (home), with early intermittent desert monsoons in Albuquerque, NM. Thank you very much for reminding us how much we're screwing up the planet, Global Warming. Taemin's music reminds me to do better each day.

Hi and I agree. Maybe we can convince Walawala to do more, or maybe it's already in the works? We need to build some momentum for the upcoming comebacks too!

Yes, would be fun to follow him from the beginning.
