Somehow I've wound up reading a lot about historical France lately. I read Nancy Mitford's very entertaining biography of Madame de Pompadour (the biographies of the Mitford sisters themselves are at least as incredible) and Sylvia Townsend Warner's novel Summer Will Show, set during the Paris Revolution of 1840.

This is all by way of explaining why I felt compelled to draw Tip in a big foofy French aristocrat gown. So here's a fancy Father's Day wallpaper for June! Click here for this and a bonus June wallpaper from the archives.

In other news, the campaign to reprint Skin Horse volumes 7 and 8 was successfully funded, so soon we'll be able to offer all twelve volumes in print again. And if you're rarin' to crowdfund another amazing book, I've got a story in this Stardust the Super Wizard anthology. My son Robin, age eight, came up with the plot and I drew it. There are a lot of cats.

Thanks as always, and happy June!
