Hello, Patrons!  For this month's Skin Horse wallpaper, I did up an illustration inspired by Henri Rousseau, my favorite artist of the French Impressionist era.  I recently went to England to visit my parents, who are living there right now, and got to go to the National Gallery in London and see Rousseau and other incredible artists.  Well, their work.  Not the artists themselves.  They're mostly dead.

I had to look up the author; I remembered the book and that it was from the right era but not who wrote it. It seems to be in Artie's wheelhouse, and probably in the original Russian. Like Skin Horse, it is a series of thematically linked satirical stories.
