Dear Patrons!

I cannot express how grateful I am to you for your support of Brixel. It is a great pleasure to see that so many kind people decided not only to try out the pack, but also support me further on this journey. Big cheers to you guys! :)

I hope that you are satisfied with the resource pack and that it is working fine for you. Should there be any problems with installation/setup, don't hesitate contacting me. I'm all ears! :)

I would also announce that an official Brixel server for Patrons is up and running. It's a sandbox for you guys and I hope that together we can fill it with some cool ideas, in Brixel-style.

Server address: 146.59.188.37:25581

Make sure that you send me your Minecraft username, so that I can add you to the server - either via Discord or through Patreon.

Brixel is in playable state already, but it’s still far from being completed. I am planning to actively support Brixel in the time to come. Updates are planned at least once a month. Patrons will be able to influence direction of updates via polls, for example deciding which blocks or items can be done next. You can also share your thoughts and ideas with me, either via Discord or directly through Patreon.

In upcoming months, I will be focusing on:

- Creating mobs. Mobs were initially planned for the release but there are some technical boundaries that make it difficult to depict entities in the way I want. I will start working on mobs when new version of Optifine and SEUS shader comes out.

- Creating new items. Modelling the rest of the tools, chests and other items. Changing looks of items in hand and on the hotbar.

- Creating new blocks. The rest of the blocks will be textured.

- Bug fixing and polishing existing content. Bugs discovered after release will be worked on. Existing textures will be polished and optimized.

Note: Some of the graphical artifacts in SEUS PTGI are shader dependent. Some of them will disappear after texturing new blocks. Shader's author announced last month that the long-awaitedm, new release of PTGI called E13 will be dropping soon. It will most probably fix the artifacts and make Brixel look better.

- Optimizing the texture atlas.

- Further work on the UI. Texturing inventory and other menus.

- Other stuff and implementing new, cool concepts (I already have a few!)

I'm going to post a poll tomorow, so that we can find out what the next step in the project development will be. Thank you again and enjoy your game, guys!

Best regards,

Wabbabrick
