Hello!

The new modular furnitures that came with the new GP are very cool but they have a lot of light issues and it was annoying me a lot.

I changed the sofa shaders from phong to counter. The sofas will now be affected by the occluders shadows. Tall objects will produces darker occluders shadows. Altought I think that it´s more realistic it can bother some people. To get rid of it just place one or more artificial light.

ATENTION
It'll override the Maxis Sectional Sofas Model Resources so it'll be incompatible with any other override to that objects.
That is the first time that I do an override so if you find any problem just tell me!

Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you for this. I was waiting for S4S to be updated to do it myself, but it seems they're really busy because it's still not available! So I'm really happy someone else did it in the meantime <3

hi! I was wondering how did you do this? I am dying to make poses using the new items from dream home decorator but the sims 4 studio still didn't pose any updates. Is there a way for me to still get items from this pack so I can use them for poses?

Hi!!! Each pack came with a package file with all the objects in it. It is located in game folders. You can open this package in S4S and you need to manually separate the resources from the object you want to edit. To separete one complete object you'll need at least the Object Definition, Object Catalog, Models, Footprint, Slot, Rigs, Cutoutinfo, Light and all the textures. The object will not be cloneable, but you can export the models to blender or work on textures for override purposes. :D
