SUKS / process sample / break-room camera (Patreon)

While we wait for finished shots, I thought maybe some of you might find interesting seeing what I've been doing, and how.

Because voyeur shots are nothing without a setting, I've been investing more than usual in the environment around the girls. And the first element of interest to me was ̷t̷h̷e̷i̷r̷ ̷b̷u̷t̷t̷s̷ where they sit... So I designed some chairs!

Ofc when I was done I realized that redrawing that unique shape from all different angles was going to be a sore task — so I went for the logical route, and reproduced them in 3D (had some rust to shake off my Blender'ing first).

With that done, now I could reposition them on just any direction, and instead of losing entire days trying to redraw my weird chairs without them looking like aborted clones of one another, I could use screenshots from Blender as if were 2D sketches. Following that I decided to do the same with the table, to work out interesting positions for all the chairs put together, and better support the composition of the shots.

TBH I'm generally not a fan of shortcuts in my work, such as resorting to 3D tools, buuut since I made my own models for these, I'm taking it as part of the creative process ┐(シ)┌

Having those basics all set, and with the screenshot in Photoshop, I started drawing the rest of the background the traditional way, only making sure to match the perspective around the 3D objects focused in front, and then colored/painted it on proper 2D, as usual.

To me it was an interesting little project, approaching BGs this way. And while a bit laborious in some points, I'm looking forward to repeat this for the other cameras around their office.
