Hello guys. I've been trying to sit and write an update for many days now, but is being so difficult to slow down and find the time, together with the mental state for it. Will do my best now though.
You don't need to hear from me about the outbreaks, so I will jump to the local details and what I've been up to this past week.
The number of reported cases in Argentina is still relatively low, but everyone mildly informed can imagine that is only temporary (and currently the testing capacity is very limited). The government response is escalating very quickly now, with a general quarantine incoming, possibly starting tomorrow.
Since my parents are both in their old age, and that puts them in the risk group, I'm trying to do everything I can think of to make things safe for them, and to procure enough resources and food for what might come in the following weeks –all the basics to make it thru a lockdown period in their home (and then some extra, in case I get sick and they find themselves on their own). Which is all a task that's becoming more difficult every day and hour, with low stocks and limited access to stores.
With all this occupying most of my day's energy and attention, I wasn't able to complete any new arts yet –but I'm working on it! A little at a time. Here's a peek to a sleepy-eyed Miranda I have in progress.
I want to thank all of you for sticking around during these slow weeks. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones, wherever you are!
