Miranda there speaks for herself, so let's go straight to the news: just last week, I got myself a tablet-screen fiiinaally~~!  ;;w;;

There's no doubt I owe this upgrade entirely to your support in here, so first what's first: THANK YOU!

I don't know if everyone is aware, but forever before I had been doing all my digital work on off-screen drawy tablets, like the Intuos. So one of the goals on my Patreon campaign was to upgrade my drawing surface to a real tablet-screen, like all of them proper artists use, right...?? "I'll get me a fancy Cintiq too... one day!" Now, that milestone goal was met sometime last year I believe... but oh, was I naive.

As it stands, down here below the equator, Wacom products are prohibitively overpriced... Tagged several times their true value, since there's no official distributors, and small businesses have to make a great investment to bring the goods here (and why not ripoff their desperate clients once they've got 'em, right!? Free market and all ). So for a long time it seemed like I'd never move up from the Intuos, and was not like I hated it anyway...

But then... while shopping for my computer's replacements, I came across certain stores who were selling other brand of tablet monitors, a certain XP-Pen... I never heard of them before, so I didn't feel super trusty right then. But after lots of research online, reading pretty good reviews, and seeing the far more accessible price offered locally (and countable stock, that's important), I decided it was good enough to give them a chance... Was feeling daring after building that PC, you could say. But really, as of today I do not regret this choice of tablet one bit!

So there's my new shiny drawing screen! (ok, not shiny, it has anti-glare surface actually) It is an XP-Pen 22E Artist Pro, and hopefully an stable addition to my working station for many years to come. : )

Again, I really owe it to your support guys! Both this upgrade and solving the computer situation too, nothing of it would've been possible without your financial help. So big big thanks to you all!
