It's being talked in public, so you might have heard of the news. Patreon has put forward a number of specific updates to their ToS, of which I will not speak here in details.

Living in Argentina, with all the limitations of our banking system, specially punishing to freelancers... the reality is that I depend on this platform to make a living (from my art, through your support). And that reality is non-negotiable.

As much as I'd love to oppose with a passion against the shitstorm that's trampling creativity in this community today, and take risks... I still have responsibilities that I need to provide for, above all else.

So in short now, work in the Makibeni comic is called off. Even some of the individual Makima shots are a no-go now... And no, I don't know what I'm gonna do with all that work.... I've poured my enthusiasm in it for months, and was coming to a happy-with-myself conclusion to it too, for once.

If you're disappointed, believe me I'm entirely disheartened. The timing for this... I can't even start to describe it.

This is a slap to the face, but I must swallow the bitterness, and move on. There's more art to be made.
