Cheesecake of Horror and Monster Girl Sculpts Sketches (Patreon)

     During my time doing comics, my other skills have languished, to put it mildly; others I'd always wanted to develop, I never even got to try. I'm determined to fix that. So I'm finally going to be doing those Cheesecake of Horror monster girl pinups (and likely squeezing in some Beauties and Beasts pieces as well), brushing up on my painting skills (no pun intended), and hopefully learning some new ones. I'll be doing multiple versions of each, experimenting with various media and color combinations. In other words, some of it's gonna suck. I've always been afraid of doing bad work--even in sketches--which, as I've said before, has made me stiff and slow. I'm going to give myself the freedom to try new things, and even screw up along the way, if it helps me get where I want to go. As well as painting and sketching more, I'm going to be doing some sculpting along similar lines:  monster girls, mostly, in a pinup style. I'll post in-progress images as I go. Hopefully you'll get a kick out of it. Oh, and yes, I am working on the Far West short. I just need to do these other things for myself, as well. I hope you all understand, and get some enjoyment from it.
