My Favorite M'Lady Pinup (Patreon)

     I don't recall if this was a commission or if I did it just for the fun of it, but it's always been my favorite of all the M'Lady pinups I've done. Not only did I do right by the princess, but there's just a simple elegance to it that really works. For me, anyway. It's also some unusually competent inking on my part (there's a reason I prefer gray tones!). It's really a shame that adult comics aren't respected (if comics are considered a creative ghetto, adult comics are that ghetto's dirty back alley...so to speak); for whatever reason, some of my better work has been in adult stories. Actually, looking at the majority of adult comics out there, I kind of get the stigma. Not the sex-is-dirty thing that has always plagued this country, but the quality of so many adult comics. The stories, I mean. Oddly, the art for many of them is amazing: color, rendering...just beautiful. But all too often it's in service of bad stories with no characterization, and all the focus is on grotesquely exaggerated body parts slamming together. So I can sort of understand the lack of respect for the field. It's just aggravating. Whadaya gonna do?
