"Day of the Dead" Commission WIP #2 (Patreon)

     Here we are at the next stage of the Day of the Dead commission. Obviously I've sketched-in Death, but a lot more has happened as well. I've added Deja's hands, Maria's hand and fan, and rendered Abbey's dress. I completely changed Death's pose, when I realized that you wouldn't have been able to see her little trademark eye squiggle with her facing the way she was before. I tried to honor the Day of the Dead theme with the attire, while giving each character her own identifying detail. Deja has her broom, Maria of course has her fan and face makeup, Abbey has candy skull-style bones to represent the Boneyard, and Death has skulls on her dress and is wearing her ankh in her hair. Next up: inks, then painting Maria's dress.
