There are a few characters I never had time to introduce in the printed story arcs (where page space is at a premium), and in a way I'm kind of glad. Realizing they'd never been seen by the public (except for one character, in a commission I once did), I took the opportunity to redesign one that I was never quite satisfied with. Then I had to re-redesign it, when I saw virtually the same design (in a drastically different context) online. It's been fun having Paris meeting new "monsters" again, kind of like in the old days. Over these next few strips, you'll see that he doesn't take it in quite the same stride this time. But there's a very good reason for that...
