Oh deer (Patreon)

I've always been confused about what deer I was looking at when I saw one, (I'm pretty sure I've only ever seen wild roe deer's though) and after a meeting with a gorgeous young deer last week I decided to make a drawing to help myself remember. Here you have 4 of the deer's (and their butts) we have in Denmark. 

  The butt markings are pretty different from each other if you take a good look. And maybe next time you see a deer, you will remember this drawing and what butt you just looked at. Hope it helps. 

It's been a while since I tried drawing something more than fast colored sketches and comic pages, so I wanted to try make a neat background for this and try get out of my comfort zone a bit. 

  Summer is really coming along and I think the little lake and the forest scene captures a warm summer day pretty well. I could've fiddled with it for hours still, but at some point you just gotta say stop: it's done! I'll most likely return to it in a couple of weeks and tweak some stuff but I'm pretty dang proud of this one!
