Last weekend Yumi, Embryu and I attended Vilde universer (wild universes)! A tiny little convention that's only been held once before in 2021. Some of you might remember we also attended Artbubble last year in September and one of the organizers from Vilde Universer invited us to be in a panel about horror illustration. Yumi and I said yes, even though it would be our very first time trying that.

I've added a few pictures below from the con for those interested:

(Our neat little table with comics and comic zines with every genre from horror and fantasy to monster erotica! Sadly, it was not really the con to sell much. But hey, it's practice! People did however fancy the Otherworldly Taste comic anthology. Bunch of pervs <3)

(Whilst listening to a bunch of other interesting panels (they were held in the same room the tables were in) Yumi would relax and cut out some of her stickers.)

(I didn't have any stickers to cut so I doodled the little comic attached to todays post.)

(The panel we joined was the second last one on Sunday. Despite that I managed to keep calm and only be resonably nervous 1 hour before. If you had asked me if I would ever join a talk in front of strangers 2 years ago I would have said: NEVEEERRRR! And normally I would have been having a nervous stomach for 1 week before but lucky for me, that didn't happen this time. It did help a lot having a friend right next to me!)

(Karsten and NMAAR was the remaining 2 to join the panel. They make awesome creepy stuff! If you are into that, go check them out! The picture in the background is from an older school project I made called The Macabre Museum. Personally I really like having a little slideshow in the background for the listeners to peek at.)

(The talk is done, Embryu said we said clever things (even though I don't remember half of what I said) and everything is good. Phew! (picture by Rasmus Barfoed.) Time to pack up and go home and embrace the inevitable post con fatigue.)

That is all for now! It was a great experience where I got to move some of my limits and get out of my comfort zone. It's lovely to reunite with the girls again and get to hang out with them for a few days.

Time to get back to drawing some MGDM!
