Who you gonna call?

All things considered, I think this crew did a pretty bang up job on the Ghostbusters franchise. And we managed with only so much nerding out along the way. From HP Lovecraft to MK-ULTRA, with all things Columbia and geomanic along the way, we covered a lot of bases.

But more importantly, I think we were able to convey both the rich mythos underlining this franchise as well as its cultural significance. As to the former, the films (and cartoon) introduced so many fringe concepts into the mainstream that it boggles the mind. As to the latter, while everyone acknowledges the franchises success and its fandom, I think few grasp the extent of influence it's had on broader culture.

These are themes I hope to explore more in a future Zoom Party, but I think this is a fine introduction to the esoteric Ghostbusters. As always, I hope everyone enjoys. Thank you to all who participated.
