State of Union 2/10/23: They Said It Was a Weather Balloon... (Patreon)

Yeah, I know everyone's talking about the incident with the Chinese balloon. But, there's a lot to unpack to grok it's full significance. Starting with Seymour Hersh's bombshell revelation this week confirming US complicity in the Nord Stream bombing last year. There were a lot of intrigues behind this one, to put it mildly. 

And what about the Israeli drone attack on Iran during the last weekend of January. This event has largely flown under the radar, but it may be gar more significant than most realize. And finally, how about the covert PCR-US efforts to achieve a temporary détente? Efforts began in earnest in November last year, shortly after reports began to be issued warning of the effects war in Ukraine was having on the US's Asian pivot. 

It is against this backdrop that we come to the infamous weather/spy balloon, easily strangest events to emerge from Cold War 2.0 thus far. What does it mean? Does anyone truly know?
