For this subscribers episode I'm joined by Russ Baker, an award winning investigative journalist and author. He has written for such publications as the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Nation, and the Washington Post, among many others.  He is also the author of the classic Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, America's Invisible Government, and the Hidden History of the Last Fifty Years and the founder of the website whowhatwhy.com.

Inevitably, this interview deals heavily with the Bush dynasty. But I tried to focus on aspects of said family that are not as widely detailed. To wit, we explore the bizarre intrigues involving cryptozoologist Tom Slick; the murky career of CIA coup master Alfred Ulmer; and what really happened at Watergate. The latter is one of the pivotal deep events of the twentieth century and one that is criminally misunderstood. Russ sheds some light on it, as well as Poppy Bush's involvement.

We also delve into Skull and Bones and the striking connections the Bush family has to the state of Ohio. If Watergate is one of the most misunderstood deep events of the twentieth century, Ohio is a literal deep state widely overlooked by various communities focusing on such things. We also stray a bit into the different varieties of Maltese knights. Russ weighs in on the state of the legacy media as we head into the home stretch. As always, I hope you guys enjoy.
