I am now very excited to watch 2 - and curious about 3. Been very curious about the methods of 1’s production. One the producers was a vet - apparently only did 4 years, but I wonder how influential he was in the fairly spooky methods of terrorizing the actors. But I definitely agree that the marketing of the film is probably where the real “intelligence” was tested/vindicated. Feels like a media watershed moment that we’re still living with.

I’ve never seen the 2nd and 3rd movies so I think I’ll give them a go now as they actually sound pretty interesting.
