Hello dear patrons. I've been kind of quiet lately, sorry about that. However! I have some good news for people who have been waiting for the second e-book. Pre-orders are now available, and the e-book itself is close, coming out on 17th this month. Here's a link:

I have little to report on the "write something new dammit!" front. I'm still experimenting with things and don't have anything worth posting. Hopefully I'll have another AU chapter ready for the e-book release, at least.

The audiobook is also coming out on 17th this month, and while pre-orders for that had been available for some time, I figured I should mention it. I'll make another post then to draw more attention to it, so no need to worry about that.

As usual, thank you all for patience and hopefully this news at least cheers you up a little.

Ebook pre-ordered don't seem to be available on UK Amazon, is this a known delay?

I'll have to consult with Wraithmarked before I can get back to you on this.

Glad to see the ebook published! Is there also a non-kindle version available without DRM?

nobody103

There are plans to release the e-books outside Amazon and in other formats, but they have not yet been realized. So no, at the moment there is no alternative version. I'm very sorry about that, but it takes time to sort these things out.

I can wait, no problem :) But very nice that such plans!

I was able to preorder from Germany, so maybe something went wrong somewhere?

Ah, I have realized what happened, book 1 the audiobook and Kindle edition are linked on Amazon, for book two the audiobook and Kindle edition are not linked.

Pre-ordered! Definitely great news, looking forward to release day

I would love the paper version, should follow, shouldn't it?

nobody103

Yes, the idea is to release a paper version for each book. Eventually. We first have to deliver the first book before organizing the second one. :)

nobody103

Yeah, I was informed by Wraithmarked that the ebook is definitely avilable in the UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B11L9TWP

Yes, I already ordered the first one ;) and want to complete the collection. I will be able to share this wonderful story with non screen readers

Kind of wish the second book had a different cover. I love the first cover, but it's more fun for each book to be more unique in that way.

nobody103

I get you, but there is a certain beauty in each book continuing the theme and building on it. It works with the similarly incremental growth of the main character as the story progresses.

Green0Photon

My apologies, actually. When I saw the cover initially, it looked close enough that I thought it was actually identical, save for a 2 instead of a 1. But there are actually subtle changes showing improved magic, which is actually what I wanted. Sorry for my comment, you're completely correct. It's a great cover.

Keep em comin! I really enjoyed reading MoL over the years on fictionpress. I'm ready and willing to purchase them for my kindle :D ps I'm not sure if you've already fielded this question/subject. But if you ever come back to the MoL world, it would be pretty kool to see some of the stuff the characters get up to later in life. I never really understood the geography/size of the world you created, but it definitely seemed like there was a much wider world out there. Good world building on your part, imo.

I still haven't decided when/if I will write another story in MoL world, but I am steadily gathering ideas. For now, I want to focus on Zenith of Sorcery... even though it's going a little slowly at the moment. :P
