A new chapter has been posted! Hope you enjoy.

Sadly, I don't really have much in the way of worldbuilding posts. I'm still working on that. However, one of my readers - jkwrites - has made some scripts that automatically convert the story into pdf and other formats when you click on them. I know some of my other readers have been asking for things like this, so here are the links if you're interested:

Aww yeah! Been eagerly awaiting this chapter all day. Thanks, Domagoj! :)

I don't know if its just me, but I find it annoying how Zack is so overpowered and good at everything, that he (outside of the telepathy stuff) makes Zorian seem irrelevant. And with the timeloop business coming to a close in ~35 chapters or less, it feels like he will never catch up. Like, this is probably on purpose, but it feels like this is just Zack's story, and Zorian is along for the ride. And that makes all of Zorian's accomplishments meaningless in the grand scheme of the plot.

Ilu my magical powergaming addiction feeder. I kinda want you to, after you finish this story, to tell Zack's. I'm curious what he got up to.

nobody103

That would be a pretty epic undertaking. I have enough trouble with this one.

Yeah, I was really stunned at Zach's power. Remember, though, that it was Zorian who, through working with the aranea, consistently derailed the invasion, broke into the the invasion's base under Cyoria, took out Sudomir, and progressed the restart to the actual summoning of the primordial. In five years, Zorian's learned and accomplished more with regards to the invasion than Zach did in decades, despite Zach's incredible---frustratingly incredible---power. But I agree: I felt really disconcerted by Zach's prowess . . .

Great chapter! Looking forward to the next one!

Hello, I'm a fellow fantasy web author and I just wanted to say I really enjoy reading your story. I'm curious why you host on FictionPress though. It seems like a terrible website. Why not upload your story to your own wordpress site, since you already have one?

nobody103

I only made the wordpress site recently. Very recently. And while fictionpress can be annoying, they have one feature I really like - they allow me to simply upload a word document straight into their system and maintain the formatting. Most sites cannot manage that. They want you to type things in manually, and sometimes even hopelessly break text formatting if you attempt to copy past chapters into the input box. Anyway, uploading everything to wordpress now would take forever and fictionpress is not that bad yet. Plus, any such migration would cause me to shed readers in huge numbers. It's not something to be done lightly.

Aww man~ I hope you don't mind some personal feedback, I feel that the follow up for such an exciting build up from last chapter feels a bit subdued, not in terms of storyline, which was logical and flows smoothly as usual, but in the way it was expressed and executed. I have no issue with the whole Zach being more talented than Zorian fuss, since that's talent, I really thought this whole restart could have been more drawn out and detailed rather than such a quick "pass over"

Holy shit. Your covering photo... I thought something about the Ghost Serpent's explanation seemed familiar. Well played.

nobody103

It's an issue of pacing. With things heating up like they have been and building up to a conclusion, it felt like a mistake to drop everything for two chapters of leisurely Zach-Zorian interaction. It would totally kill the momentum of the story.

Domagoj, I don't think Zorian got the answer to: What the hell was Sudomir going to use the soul well for?

nobody103

He didn't get an answer to it because he only had limited time with the man, and the answer to that question was complex and tied into his plan to force Eldemar to make concessions to him. Rather than try and figure it out, Zorian chose to focus on other things - what Sudomir knew about the rest of the invaders, mostly.

I know your busy writing chapters (and I don't want to slow you down, really looking forward to Sunday), but is there any chance we will get some more world building posts soon?

nobody103

We'll see. I've been a little too ambitious with my worldbuilding topics when trying to write posts, so I have nothing but half-finished wrecks of posts right now, but I can probably manage a short post or two on some minor topic. It depends on how well the work on the main story goes.

Domagoj~~ No rush, take your time, and I hope everything's well with you. <3

nobody103

No worried. The chapter is done, I just have to get it back from editing. I'll have to post it after midnight, though, which means I'll technically be late and... that kind of sucks. But hey, better than blowing through the deadline entirely, right?
