Hi guys. Sorry for dropping multiple posts at you at once, but I guess this is going to be a 'new normal' for this project (unless it's shut down eventually).
We've got a lot of progress with new build development, including new assets and around 70 pages of text are ready now. It's still delayed - this time we're changing how gym discounts can be applied to make the whole story a little bit more interesting.
Now about the bad stuff - development is pretty much behind the schedule because of now coming regular power grid shut-offs where I live and that some other members of the team are experiencing. I did not want to mention this before, but I don't have other choices now - this has a crazy tough impact on the project, especially now, when 95% of the work for the update is coding and playtesting and it cannot be done from the notebook at the coffee shop for example (not only because of the adult nature of the project but also because of how resource-hungry the Unity is, making laptop burn and lag like hell)
I wish to call this week a dev release week, but if things turn from bad to worse the update will get delayed until the end of the next week at least. I'm trying to find a solution to this in the meantime, but things are pretty complicated atm.
Right now I'm checking on which part of the update we can effectively 'cut down' to reduce the number of dialogs needed for coding and deliver the first part of the update sooner.
Another thing is I think I have to stick to dropping the 'whole week' updates one-after-another like I did today for at least some time.
