This episode is so intense, the acting from everyone is so good! You said this has been the best 3 episode stretch… but the next 3 are SO GOOD just wait!! I was waiting for your reaction to the Rose appearance! It so frustrating that the doctor didn’t see her again! 🤦🏻‍♀️😅

This episode, even with a monster of the week, showed that humanity when scared can sometimes be the biggest monsters capable of anything. Also likewise, these 3 episodes were great, but the show keeps going hard until the end this season.

This episode is one of the best. It's such a simple concept, and basically set in one location with a small cast, but it's written so perfectly. The actress who plays Skye must have had such a tough job on this one. She basically has to learn not just her own lines, but everyone elses. I can't wait to see you react to the next one, I guarantee you'll take this run of 3 strong episodes and turn it into a run of 4!

My favourite 10th doctor/David Tennant episode of doctor who and has to be in my top ten rankings of doctor who episodes of all time, there is hardly anything wrong with this episode expect the fact that donna wasn't in it as much as she should have been.

This episode is a MASTERCLASS in suspense, psychological horror and tension. All the actors did a fantastic job, with special mention of the actress who played Sky and David Tennant of course. I think showing the true panic and desperateness of the human race in this dire of a situation is scarier than any monster they could throw at us. This felt similar to a classic Hitchcock style horror where it all took place in one room and relied on the characters around the room to build the story. In fact you probably don’t even realize you were sitting in one room for 40 minutes. It’s just so good. Shoutout to the Murray Gold who composes the music as well. The music fit perfectly with the situation and the atmosphere. Yet I still think the next episode tops all the ones we’ve seen so far. So excited for the rest of this season. IT’S JUST TOP TIER DOCTOR WHO.

I’m always surprised that so many people say Blink is the best episode when Midnight exists! Don’t get me wrong, Blink is great, but this was the only episode where I doubted whether the Doctor could defeat the baddie. So terrifying. Reminded me of Twilight Zone.

Agreed re all the praise for this ep. Moreover to billed on the excitement, I hope that episode was “relaxing” as it possibly could be. Going forward Russell T. Davies does things that ever since has made him my favorite script writer of all time. Think of every remaining episode as a drawn out farewell to Russell as showrunner, and he kicks it up to levels I can’t describe. Just remember that RTD doesn’t put anything in an Ep by mistake or without purpose. In a word, epic is what remains as RTD breaks your brain forever. And so it begins…

I am SO bummed out to be caught up with your DW reactions now, especially since this ep+the rest of the season are my favorites. I look forward to watching it all through your eyes. I’ve been devouring your videos like an insane person all week. It’s so rare that I encounter someone who is so ridiculously in sync with all of my feelings about this show (especially regarding Rose and Martha, and from a male perspective, even — not to generalize too much, but lots of guys tend to hate Rose 😩) (We disregard these people, of course) But you, from episode one, have been so emotionally invested in this show, love all of the right characters for all of the right reasons, and you’ve had such empathy and joy that’s been wonderful to watch. Your love and respect of the Doctor is brilliant, too — and I’m glad the campiness endears it to you. Anyway, so glad I found your videos, and I’m so excited for how you handle the rest of series four 💖
