I'm just catching up now. I cannot wait for season 3. It's only 5 episodes, and when originally broadcast they were shown nightly Monday through Friday in one week. All 5 of them, plus this episode are the 6 highest rated episodes of Torchwood. Season 3 is considered by many to be the crowning glory of early 2000's British TV, and it even went on to win many awards.

First time I watched this episode I was in tears for like 10 minutes straight. Also I’m not sure if you noticed it but Toshiko spoke to Owen about when she had to cover for him, and mentioned a “Space Pig”. That was in reference to Doctor Who’s “Aliens of London/World War Three” where we see Tosh as the “doctor” at St Albion Hospital where her and the doctor talk about the space pig.
