OK I know there’s several days to go but looking at the current top four I find it fascinating the two of them are from the 90s and two of them are from the last two years. So the members of this group are interested in things that are recent and 30 years old. I’m fascinated at how that would break down statistically. Anyway happy Friday everyone!

Like every reaction channel there is a split. It's mostly fully of millennials in their 30's that love the 80's-2000's stuff and then the other half is GenZ that mostly likes modern stuff. It leads to a constant push and pull between those two groups on just about every reactor's patreon that I keep track of. I know that I'm firmly in the 80's-2000's stuff. I never get the love of modern stuff. To me, it never holds a candle to older stuff. Then again, that's my view, so I get that others don't agree. Tastes change from generation to generation.

Yes I can see that. I'm in my early 30's and for me I have movies from the 2010's that I really like, but I also have a ton of movies from the 2000's way down to the 40's that I love and appriciate, so it's often a mix, when I suggest movies, and I understand if younger folks mostly want modern stuff, that they might relate to more, find more impressive etc, but I can find something great/nostalgia in movies from before I was born as well. It just depends on the plot, actors and how the movie is done.
