Strange Case- Thank you once again for another fantastic reaction for a fantastic episode, Jay!! I really like this episode more than I expected I would. Not that I expected to not like it, because I really do like the original story of Jekyll and Hyde, but until this episode, Jekyll and Hyde have only been okay characters. I suspected ahead of time that in order to defeat Hyde, Jekyll would have had to die too, but I felt that the twist between these two characters is really great. I didn't really realize that Dr. Jekyll would turn out to be the greater villain, even though Hyde has been a villain all along. In spite of Jekyll being a villain in the classic novel and in other shows and movies created from the novel too. And their deaths within this episode is really great. I love that it is Killian who defeats them to protect Belle! Hyde got his just desserts! :) And now Rumple should be indebted to Hook for saving his wife. It's too bad that the seashell broke. Hopefully Emma can repair it so that Belle can keep connected to Killian for when he isn't around any longer. However, I was a little disappointed that there isn't a scene between either Killian and Emma, or Killian and Belle, showing these woman check to make sure he was alright. He did just kill two men. I'm sure he had no qualm about killing Hyde, or even Jekyll, but as the good man Killian is, he would feel badly for having to take a life and being unable to save Jekyll, who though he was gave into his own darkness, I do believe he was trying to become a better man, at least until he killed Mary. I saw Mary's death coming as well, long before she was killed, but I really like the scene of her falling out the window too. I actually felt a little bit badly for Hyde in this moment. He was the one who really actually loved her, not Jekyll. It is like Rumple and Mary said, Jekyll was all brain, with no heart. And he didn't make enough of an effort to show his love or passion, whereas Hyde did. So, in spite of their romance being so briefly seen and established, I understand Mary and Hyde falling in love with one another. And I really love this twist in the story. Also... I agree with you that Jekyll appeared to really push Mary out the window pretty hard, making it appear that he did so intentionally. Although, I do believe it is meant to appear like he only did so accidentally. Now, as for Regina's storyline and how the show has revealed that in order for the Evil Queen to be killed, Regina has to be as well... I absolutely love this twist and revelation. I love seeing Killian appear to save Belle, and that in doing so, he is forced to kill Jekyll and therefore winds up killing Hyde as well. I really love that in him doing so... we find out that the only way for the heroes to kill the Evil Queen, is for Regina to die also. Not good, but I love the twist! As for Gold's storyline this episode... he is such a jerk throughout this episode. Towards Belle, Regina, and Jekyll before he learns he has gone after Belle to get revenge on him for Mary's death and bringing out Hyde. It is really rotten of him to trap Belle on the Jolly Roger even if it was to try to keep her safe. But it only made her in worse danger than before. Thank goodness for Killian! Also... I really do like his new hairstyle now that I've seen it in an entire episode, but I still like his original style better. I'm glad we'll continue to have Rumpelstiltskin for the longer hair in the backstory scenes. Anyways, Gold should have known that Hyde was smarter than that and wouldn't have left the extra serum in Jekyll's hands. Talk about gullible. Killian really didn't just save Belle, but him too so technically Rumple owes Killian double. And then... I really enjoy the school scenes with Snow, Henry, and Jasmine. I especially the first scene when Violet appears and kisses Henry. That is cute. And now we've been introduced to Princess Jasmine. Yay!! I really like her and the actress chosen to play her. And I really enjoy the mysterious finale scene between Jasmine and the Oracle as well, and I love that they're now working together to try to find Aladdin who is supposedly in Storybrooke somewhere. Marvelous!! I love the animated Disney movie, Aladdin, so I am absolutely happy that they've been brought into Once Upon a Time at last! And lastly... like I said above, I really wish that there would have been at least one scene between Killian and Emma. It was nice to have the fatherly concern from Charming in the beginning over Hook moving in with his daughter, although I thought he was past all that. Not to mention that David also calls him, 'that pirate,' which was a bit hurtful I thought. And then the first scene between Killian and Belle shows Killian ready with his only trunk to move in with Emma, which I love. I knew that he wouldn't have much to move. Hook may have pillaged and plundered in his days as a pirate, but the Jolly Roger has always been his only real treasured possession. Thank you very much again for a great reaction! I am excited for many more to come!! Until next time, my friend... Sincerely, Heidi

I really liked this episode, and I think they ended the Jekyll/Hyde story at the right time, I remember when it was airing that I wasn't as much into these characters and hoped they wouldn't drag it out through the whole/half season, and yeah, I think they ended it really well, and with another classsic OUaT twist to it of course! Belle was awesome in this one, and Rumple definitely has to accept that she needs distance from him, he just continues to go about it the wrong way. They do have probably the most epic love story of the show I feel like, even more so than Snow/Charming and Emma/Hook, just cos of all the insane ups and downs and, like Regina said, "it's always out of one prison and into another with that one" xD Fun fact; the reason Rumple cut his hair was because at the time of filming, Robert Carlyle who plays Rumple, was filming the sequel to the cult film Trainspotting, where his character is bald, so the long hair didn't really go :P

Did you get a haircut? Looks good! Looks like you and Rumple have something in common :D
