This episode is so ridiculous but enjoyable. 😂 Don't worry, Torchwood's teenager-who-tries-too-hard-to-be-an-adult phase will end soon.

It took a long time for me to get on with this show. Mostly because it felt like it is trying way too hard to be more "adult" than I felt was actually really necessary. Primarily I felt like the exercise in trying to differentiate from Doctor Who was just overkill a lot of the time. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of great stuff as well. I just think its identity is all over the place at times.
