what a great movie! I remember in the beginning thinking it was a cute opposites-attract-rom-com but then it took a TURN.

i'm shocked you didn't know anything about this movie. it was huge when i was in middle school. but i think it's better to not know anything when you watch a movie so you can be surprised. Mandy Moore was a singer. I had her album and i remember being so happy to see her in this movie. She's a great actress and Shane West is brilliant as well. This movie is definitely one of my favorites even though it's so sad.

so can we now recommend all the nicholas sparks movie adaptations? im sure youve seen the notebook, but there are plenty more. also, i think we need to get This Is Us to be your next show. the girl who played jamie (Mandy Moore) is in it.

One of my all time favorite movies! I remember seeing this in theaters alittle over a month after my dad passed away (I was 13 years old), and it was like my saving grace. "Love is like the wind. You can't see it, but you can feel it" really hit home for me. I've seen this movie so many times, I could probably recite it word for word, and I cry every time. Thank you for reacting to this 🙂

Although I voted for another movie I'm so glad this one won. Everyone has such great taste in movies. Also like this one, many of these movies I grew up with. This the movie where I realized Mandy Moore was an incredible actress and she's now doing amazing work on This is US. Shane West was cast perfectly, partnering an equally powerful performance. This movie at 1st glance seems like a simple straight forward movie but then slowly unravels itself with all these beautiful unforeseen layers. A BEAUTIFUL,POWERFUL Love story. Great reaction and great pick guys! Also ...I may have cried my eyes out! In the best way though. :)

So glad this was the movie that was chosen. Hadn’t seen it in years so it was great to see it again though I foolishly thought I could make it through without bawling like a baby this time 🤪 It was nice to watch it on here - felt like I was watching it with someone! 😀

On Nicholas Sparks website he says that his sister was the inspiration for this novel. She went to church had a lot of faith and was a lot like Jamie. She met someone like Landon and even though she was terminally ill with cancer her boyfriend proposed and they got married before she died. Loved the movie and this makes the story even more inspirational and moving.

I am so glad this movie won. It is one of my fav love stories ever. The chemistry between the leads is still one of the best in all films I've watched so far...so natural and they really capture the essence of pure true love. Great reaction! :)
