Ok, so I found the episode on dailymotion, and gave in. I kept seeing spoilers online, so I think I'm gonna try and keep up with it as it airs in Canada. I loved this episode! It's really weird seeing them acting more grownup, even if it's just 16. I don't know how old they were supposed to be in past seasons, but I'd assume it's a time jump of at least 2 years, if not more. I'm really excited for this season, and especially to get to see Anne and Gilbert travelling together and Cole soon. I loved the friendship between the girls, especially with all the throwbacks to the first episode and remembering how they all started. Also, I loved the teacher's line about the geese, it's the same thing Anne said to Matthew on their way to Green Gables the first time. Just shows how similar they are. Seeing Jerry older and reading so well also made me really happy, and I definitely ship Jerry and Diana. Also, there's the gift from Matthew that almost made me cry. That little speech was so sweet, and just makes me love his character even more if possible. Overall, a great start to the new season, and I can't wait to see where it goes! I don't know if you read comments, but if you do, I am really curious to know if you know much about the storyline of Anne of Green Gables? I know this show isn't following it exactly, but I'm just curious.
