Delay Notice (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you guys know real quick that I'm not gonna make it in time for this update. Programming the character profile screen and the new naming screen for Yuuichi at the start of the game took way more time than I thought. Making the main system itself work wasn't that much of a hassle, but getting it to play nice with old saves has been a bit of a challenge. As a result, I didn't get a satisfactory amount of writing done.

I've pivoted to focusing on the writing for the last week or so, which also means I haven't added in all the flags for the Shoichi kiss bust or the character profiles to update as the game goes along, so I'll probably slowly add these in over the new few updates as I go along instead of focusing too much time and attention on it to the detriment of the writing.

In the meantime, here's a sneak peek into the art asset pipeline. A few examples of Keisuke's kiss bust in his different outfits as well as a new sprite for Tanabe (Yuuichi's longtime rival)! The coloring on Tanabe is not final yet, so these might be revised a tad, but it serves to give you guys an idea.

Tell me what you guys think of Tanabe's coloring, by the way. I'll pass the feedback along to Nyaruh so she can ponder on it while working on his sprite!
