A Cova – The Pit, was a government-run black-site hidden deep in the Amazon Rainforest that offered a very special service to clandestine agencies across the world. This is where the most dangerous mercenaries were sent when their contracts expired and became too expensive to either re-activate … or to terminate.

Over time however, the now infamous Warden of A Cova had devised a method to further squeeze a profit out of the collection of assassins, sicarios, agents and spies he had collected over the years. These women would be forced to fight each other fully nude in savage death-fights that were streamed through the dark web for the entertainment of a very select audience.

In Madam Z’s words - A Cova was where monsters were sent to die.

But unlike the other inmates who found themselves thrown into the pit to be forgotten, Sadie was on an undercover mission to secure intel from an inmate named Irina Shevchenko: A ruthless mercenary with ties to the Rook Company who had crossed paths with the agency before.

Unfortunately, Irina was now dead. Having met her end in the hands of the mysterious assassin only known as Nyx during one of the recent death-fights and making it impossible for Sadie to complete her mission. *

Perhaps, this is why Sadie did not see it coming. Having been beaten to the punch, the thought of failing a mission hung heavy over Sadie's heart, clouding her senses. But in hindsight, the signs were all around her.

The chatter of other inmates subsided. The air grew cold. The lights in the far side of the shower block shut off. Security doors slammed shut.
