Emergency Status Update (Patreon)

Dear friends. In an insane twist to the current health situation at home, it turns out my mother wasn’t just suffering from complicated side effects from the Covid-19 vaccine. Instead, everything indicates that she was already infected with the virus before taking vaccine, which made everything worse.

Without getting into details, the current status is that my mother has been hospitalized in critical condition and is now under the care of healthcare professionals. Her oxygen levels seem stabilized for the time being but these things can change by the hour.

Additionally, I may have been exposed to the virus during the time I came home to care for her so I’m now officially in self quarantine and under assessment. Things may become clearer in the coming days.

This is not an easy post to make, but I felt it necessary, as I’ve been reading every single comment and PM I’ve received from all of you. So I wholeheartedly thank each and every one of you for your support and words of encouragement. Reading them became small but important rays of hope in what are turning out to the darkest days of my life.

I’m hoping to make some art in the coming days, because I rather do something instead of sit around worrying all day, albeit not at the usual rhythm, but I absolutely need it to focus on the positive.

Thank you all once more for your thoughts and prayers. May brighter days come sooner rather than later and I sincerely hope you are all taking care of yourselves and your loved ones.
