Marmalade opened the door to the livingroom, stretching his back and yawning after a long patrol, only to jump slightly as a figure shifted in his periphery. He flinched slightly, his nerves released as soon as he heard "Oh, just you." escape Mint's lips. That exhaustion quickly shifted to a desire to poke the bear as he grinned to his green-haired companion.

"JUST me~? You're telling me I'm not the one you were waiting up for~?" Marmalade teased, Mint grimacing at his goading as the man pushed his face back into his book. Marmalade shimmied over to the couch next to Mint, seating himself uncomfortably close and leaning up against him.

"You look so glum~!" Marmalade teased further.  "If you really need help rubbing one out, I'd be more than happy to give you a--"

"Can you shut the hell up for once?" Mint interrupted, continuing to read his book as Marmalade pouted.  

"Geez, someone's grouchy... Never learned to share your toys~?" Marmalade moved to poke Mint's cheek, the man grabbing his finger surprisingly tightly as though he were threatening to break the digit.

"Oooooh~! Strong grip~!" Marmalade giggled before pulling his finger free. "Look, you're gonna be waiting up all night if Ludleth's date is any indication of how Sonny's is--"

Mint's book slammed shut, the man tossing it onto the coffee table and immediately standing up from his seated position, causing Marmalade to fall forward onto the couch. By the time he pushed himself back up, Mint was on his way out, turning the corner and down the hallway in a huff, leaving Marmalade alone in the livingroom.

".....geez, what a baby." Marmalade rolled his eyes and laid back on the couch...
